Situated
in swish 16th arrondissement, this apartment looks out
over banks of plane trees to a busy streetscape of typical
Parisian buildings, wrought iron balconies and elegant
shops.
Take the lift to the fourth floor and open the door to
everything you need for your stay in Paris. There's a
fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, a delightful
bedroom with a king size bed that can be turned into two
singles if you prefer, and a living room with a convertible
sofa that sleeps one adult or two small children. (Let
us know so we can provide the right linen - a surcharge
of Aust $100.00 applies.)
Your local market is a minute's walk away in the square
around the corner on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (7am
to 1pm). It's well worth a visit - fresh, inexpensive
produce and great quality. At the square you'll also find
a Monoprix department store with a good supermarket upstairs.
All kinds of restaurants are within walking distance.
From the Metro station (Michel-Ange Auteuil) on the square
it's a five minute trip to the landmark Trocadero and
the Musee de L'Homme, a pleasant 15 minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower.
Another five minutes on the metro takes
you to the Franklin Roosevelt stop on the Champs Elysees,
in the very heart of Paris.
Locating the apartment: Apartment 4 is at 7 rue Bastien
Lepage ( it is also known as 81 rue La Fontaine). Bastien
Lepage is a tiny one way street. Drive left from rue Donizetti
into rue La Fontaine and Bastien Lepage is the next corner
on the right. Rue Donizetti is small and will only be
indicated on the site map on maximum zoom. The apartment
is situated between rue La Fontaine and Villa Michel-Ange.
It is an easy walk from the metro at Place Jean Lorrain
down rue La Fontaine to the apartment
